Kids In The Community Trust # CC43774

Well the 2008 track day was a huge success.......
And all I can say is well done to you all!!!!

I would like to start off by saying thank you to all of those that attended on the day, numbers were a little down on last year, but we still managed to raise $8000.00 for Camp Quality.

We will be restarting the web site in a couple of months, so you can pre-register for the 2009 event. We have already had a number of people registering for this event.

We would also invite you all to pass on any comments regarding the day, we can only learn from our mistakes on how to improve this for next year.
The 2009 event will again have some changes to it – one will be again the way we control the grids.

  1. There will only be 4 grids – 2 cars and 2 trucks – with a maximum of 30 vehicles per grid
  2. The track time will be extended to a possible 20-30 minute season; this will allow your brakes and yourselves to have a break between outings.
  3. As the truck show’n’shine was such a success, we are going to run a car show’n’shine for next year, we have had inquires from several car clubs if this would be possible. If you are a member of any car club – please let me know which one and an approximate numbers of cars involved for the show.

And big thank you to all the members of the trucking community that went out of their way to be a part of the 2008 track day  and a big congratulations to the winners of the show’n’shine – well done to you all.
