Rally Sprint 2nd March 2013

 Never been in a Targa event before? The Targa 2013 Rally Sprint was designed to dip your toe in the Targa water and come and trial what a Targa event is like!

 Come and experience approximately 9ks of a compact course consisting of 6 runs. This gives you the chance to make changes to your set up and see what works best for your car.

 Country meets city- this stage is one of a kind.  Located in the Franklin area, not far from Auckland City, service stations are within the route of the course, and easy access to the motorway. We have selected a slice of road typical to a Targa stage, these swooping roads and tight turns bring a challenge for everyone, there are many spectator points for the whole family to come and watch.

 This will be an informal and relaxed event; you can bring your family and friends to fill up the spectator points and cheer you on! This will be a great opportunity to compare yourself to some of Targa’s veterans.

 The Rally Sprint will not form part of the Targa Series so you can use whatever tyres you want. As it will be run under a MSNZ Approved Clubsport Permit, there are some other benefits that you will also enjoy to keep the costs down. You can have multiple co-drivers, they don't need to have MSNZ licenses(just sign the indemnity on the day). The driver only needs a minimum of a MGrade Licence (formally a Clubsport). No HANS, but we still highly recommend them, No GPS Tracking required, Competition Cars only(roll caged with Log Books)

 You can have multiple co drivers so it’s a great opportunity to take your sponsors for a ride or repay your hardworking service crews. If you have multiple drivers then each driver needs to fill out a separate entry form and pay the fee.

 Results will be available online and the competition structure is based on the fastest run time on the day, prizes will be awarded by competition group.

 Prize giving will happen at 5pm during a relaxed and friendly BBQ function!

 Vehicles will be divided as per Supplementary Regulations.
